一年一度的遊戲開發者大型交流活動——遊戲開發者大會(GDC),今年於3月18至22日在美國舊金山舉行,由於GDC 2024 涵蓋多個不同主題的議程、論壇、展覽、頒獎活動等共計有數百場會議,故本會派員參加當中與獨立遊戲相關度高者,以研習轉化關鍵知識。
The annual large-scale exchange event for game developers—the Game Developers Conference—was held this year from March 18 to 22 in San Francisco, USA. Because GDC 2024 encompassed several hundred sessions covering a wide range of themes, forums, exhibitions, and award ceremonies, ARF dispatched members to attend those sessions that are highly relevant to the attributes of independent games, with the aim of acquiring and transforming key techniques and knowledge.

本會特別關注的「獨立遊戲節」入圍作品、「另類操作介面展」與「實驗性遊戲發表議程」等,今年也充滿令人驚喜的新穎作品,參訪成員們亦針對遊戲提案與宣傳銷售、機制設計、製作開發等的各軌議程中的重點演講,進行會後分析整理,撰寫了「從兩個觀點看獨立遊戲的發行提案」、「《潛水員戴夫》如何透過「角色」與「幽默」的力量改善教學流程」、「《Hi-Fi Rush》的逆向開發手法」、「故事中的吸引力設計法則」等演講記錄文章,亦透過相關線上報導與實體聚會和國內開發者分享。

ARF highlighted finalists from the "Independent Games Festival," the"alt.ctrl.GDC", and the "Experimental Game Workshop", alongside many other innovative and surprising works this year. Visiting members analyzed key insights from tracks covering game proposals, promotion, marketing, mechanism design, and production. They authored lecture record articles such as "Publishing Proposals for Independent Games from Two Perspectives," "How 'Dave the Diver' Enhances Its Tutorial through the Power of 'Characters' and 'Humor'," "Backwards Designing Techniques in 'Hi-Fi Rush'," and "Attractiveness Principle in Storytelling." These articles were shared with domestic developers through related online news articles and in-person gatherings.
