祐生研究基金會2018年會
Archilife Research Foundation Convention 2018

  After the speech, a video annual report for 2017 was played, which presented the activities in the past year. Then, the 2018 Archilife Online Exposition followed suit to present how Archilife members realized the foundation's motto: benefit life. Afterwards, Mr. Lin Rung-sheng, a member of the Next Generation, continued his report of generational vision. He stated that in the past few years, the related activities of Archlife in the information field and game developing communities of Taiwan have been gradually getting on track. During his exchange process in international conferences and with foreign people, he discovered that most people did not realize the nuances of the Chinese language used in different areas of the world and this resulted in misunderstandings. Therefore, when he lectured at an American game developer conference, he made a speech on this topic. Given that as many as 108 countries will take part in this year's Global Game Jam, the sensitive political issue of Taiwan's international status has risen again. This issue will repeatedly occur on different occasions. Therefore, he wanted Archlife members to be ready for the moment in finding the balance and responses Taiwan needs to fight in international venues and search for its position. This requires everyone's hard work.
  報告結束,接著由黃晉英秘書長傳達林俊興董事長之年度宣告「從溫度看未來」,內容表示:「溫度計大家都曉得,但都很少看;或者根本不看!通常只透過皮膚感知溫度,這是多數人從小到大養成的習性,才會對溫度計如此陌生。我們都曉得CO₂是溫室氣體,太多會造成暖化現象。這種常識大家都有,但是還是不看溫度計過日子,根本的原因就是不了解溫度與暖化兩者之間到底隱藏什麼樣的關係,又如何影響生活;甚至未來的處境,所以我才會要大家猜猜看:2017年的冬天是暖冬?還是寒冬?答對的有獎。我在此宣布答案,根據我長年的觀察,標準答案應該是:「暴烈化的暖冬」。送給沾到邊的禮物是溫度計兼帶有溼度計的測量儀器,答案完全符合的,獎品再加一級,升等為包括氣壓計的測量儀器。
  獎品雖然很輕,但是意義很重,我希望大家今後可以從溫度變化看到未來!理由說穿了並不難,我們都知道全球暖化的第一個反應就是平均溫度上升了,但是造成溫度上升變化的根本原因是地球物理現象,已不是單純從氣象面向就能詮釋的,可惜大家往往陷入慣性思考盲點,就無法正確解讀氣候異變。如何從地球物理角度闡述溫度的改變?首先跟氣體動力論有關。當溫度升高,氣體分子動能就會加速,氣體就會膨脹,大氣中水分子的密度就會下降。這時候大氣的表現就是乾燥!測量儀器上的表現就是溼度下降!從地球物理的角度來看,當大氣普遍變得乾燥,水分子密度降低,陽光就更容易穿透,地表就會接受更多熱能;同樣的到了夜晚,空氣中少了水分子,蓄熱少了,地表保溫能力就下降!一來一往,有陽光時升溫;沒陽光時降溫,溫差波動比過去要來得劇烈,總體表現就是暴烈化!這就是為什麼我們在2006年發表氣候異變模型的時候,就提到「暴烈化」這個字眼的原因!隨著CO₂再增加促動更暴烈化就是必然的現象。此時重點已不在升溫,而是升溫後造成的乾燥,及乾燥下形成的劇烈溫差,我大膽預測,這樣的趨向遲早在某些地區,會越過多年生喬木的耐候極限,使得大量喬木枯死不生,這就是「沙漠化」!
  因此我希望得獎的各位可以從手上這份小禮品,帶領大家看到未來趨向臨界的年份,可以對自己的人生規劃有再思考的基準。至於未來的趨勢,我們的任務小組已經持續作業十多年了,我相信他們會早一步得到更精準的答案,為大家提供更詳細的變化說明。最後,我期盼各位都能肩負起社會責任,共同為台灣在四百年來再次遇到升溫的情境下,提供一個相對較為優越的基礎,讓後代子孫賴以求生存、謀生計、延生命!」宣告結束,隨即由黃晉英秘書長致贈禮品溫濕度計,予「祐生謎‧猜」獲獎者,預測完全正確的張培臣先生,榮獲氣壓式溫濕度計。
  After the report of generational vision was finished, Secretary General Huang Chin-ying announced the annual announcement of "Seeing the Future from Temperature" from President Lin Chun-shin. The content was as follows: "We all know what a thermometer is but rarely use it or even don't use it at all! We usually perceive the temperature with our skin. This is a habit most of us have grown up with and that is why we are not familiar with thermometers. We all know that CO₂ is a kind of greenhouse gas and too much of it will cause global warming. I believe everybody has this common sense. However, we still live our lives without using thermometers. The primary reason is that we don't understand the hidden relationship between temperature and global warming and how they will affect our lives or even our future. This is why I wanted everybody to make a guess: will the winter of 2017 be a warm one or a cold one? I said I would give out prizes to those who answered it correctly. I hereby announce the answer. According to my long-term observation, the correct answer should be a "violently warm winter". I am going to give out a thermometer with a hygrometer to those who had close answers. For those who answered it correctly, I will upgrade the present to a measuring device that includes a thermometer, hygrometer and barometer.
